March Favourites 2014

Hullo Ladies!

It's the end of another month and I hope you all had a lovely Mothers Day yesterday :-)

Like always I'm going to talk about everything I've loved this Month!

I'll start with my favourite Skin Care product and that has to be The Body Shop's Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner. This is my second bottle and I use it every night before I go to sleep to wipe away any impurities and left over makeup that my face wash and scrub hasn't managed to get ride of. When I first started the Tea Tree line I was slightly scared it would make my dry skin worse but I haven't noticed that at all :-) I'll continue buying the line for as long as they sell it! :-)

My favourite Perfume this Month is the Vera Wang Princess perfume, I'm nearly all out which is amazing because It's a 100ml bottle that I've only had for around 6 months so for such a big bottle that's a really fast time to use it up! I'll definitely buy it again but I also want to repurchase the Princess Night fragrance as I love that too!

I have a few favourite brushes this Month, one is the Blush Brush from Real Techniques. It's quite a large blush brush and it helps to blend blushes beautifully. The other brushes are the Ecotools Eye Enhancing brush set, you get two double headed brushes which have all you need for any eye look! All brushes are really inexpensive and you can find them in Boots :-)

For eye shadow this Month I've been loving the Sleek Eye Shadows Palettes and the one I've used the most so far is the Oh So Special palette. It's a gorgeous palette that has many beautiful shades. If your loving pink tone shades at the moment then this is one you may love!

My favourite face product this month is the Blush By 3 Palette in Pink Lemonade, I only got this palette about two weeks ago and I'm in love with it! It has three gorgeous pink tone colours that look so pretty on my super pale skin! I'm in love with Sleek at the moment, especially the palettes! I want them all :-)

My favourite lip product at the moment is a bright lipstick from the Maybelline Vivid's line called Fuchsia Flash. It's a super bright and pink. I'm loving bright lipsticks at the moment and I know that I'll be using this and the other lipsticks in the line this Summer!

Last but not least is my favourite nail polish this month which is China Glaze For Audrey, a gorgeous blue nail polish that is said to be a close match to the famous Tiffany & Co colour. It's a gorgeous shade with a stunning formula. My only problem is that It became very thick quickly but I friend told me to try putting a few drops of nail polish remover into it and it worked! I've been wearing it constantly these last few weeks!

What products have been your favorites this month?

REVIEW + SWATCHES - Maybelline Colorsensational Vivid Lipstick - Electric Orange

Hey Ladies!

I felt like I need a pop of Summer this morning so I decided to go for a bright lip. I chose Electric Orange from Maybelline, a true orange lipstick!

For some reason I find this to be not as pigmented as all the other Vivid lipsticks, that doesn't mean that it's too sheer or a bad lipstick at all. It just needs to be built up more than the others, a good thing really as it's an orange lipstick which can be frightening to some people :-)

I'm so in love with the colour!

I'm really getting back into wearing bright lipsticks lately :-)

I can see this being a favourite for the Summer!

Have you tried any of the Color sensational Vivid lipsticks?

I wish they'd bring the whole line over to the UK!

I definitely recommend this lipstick :-)

Sleek Haul! Blush, Eye Shadow and Brows!

Hi Ladies!

So you may know that recently I've become OBSESSED with the brand Sleek and I just want to show you some of my most recent purchases :-)

First I ordered some more of the eye shadow palettes, I picked Storm and Au Naturel.

Both I'd heard lots about :-)

Storm Palette

They're both neutral palettes so great for every day looks but they also have some amazing dark jewel tone shadows so amazing for smokey eyes too!

The other two products I picked up was the Brow Kit in Dark and I've only been using it for a day and I'm in love. My brows have never looked so good!

The last product I picked up was the one I was most excited to get and have wanted for the longest is the new Blush By 3 palette in Pink Lemonade. I've wanted it since I first saw a blog post of it online and It's as beautiful in real life as it is pictured online!

I'm definitely happy with everything I've bought.

Everything was purchased from Amazon :-)

The next product I'm thinking of buying is the I-Candy palette, It's very bright and different to what I usually go for but it's just so pretty!

Have you bought anything from Sleek recently? Anything from them that your dying to try?!!

REVIEW - SLEEK - Oh So Special Palette + Eye Looks :-)

Hullo Ladies!

I recently become obsessed with Sleek products and after years of hearing so many wonderful things about the eye shadow palettes, reading about them in all your blog posts, I decided to try them out.

I recently bought a few that I had my eye on.

The one I really wanted to get was this Oh So Special palette.

I loved the look of it online and after finding it on amazon for £5.75 I decided to go for it :-)

This palette contains 12 shadows, 5 shimmers and 7 mattes.

From left to right - Bow, Organza, Ribbon, Gift Basket, Glitz, Celebrate, Pamper, Gateau, The Mail, Boxed, Wrapped Up and Noir.

All of the shadows are pigmented and smooth and although I had read about the bad fall out you can get with Sleek I haven't noticed any more than I'd get with other brands which is good :-)

Here's a few looks I've created with this palette!

I created this pink/purple look for a meal out with the family!

What I did :

1) I primed my eyes with my Too Faced Shadow Insurance Primer

2) I placed the colour Gateau all over the lid.

3) Then I used Wrapped Up as a transition colour through the crease.

4) I blended the colour Celebrate into the outer 'V'.

5) Then I took Gift Basket and ran that on my lower lash line.

6) I put the colour Bow onto my brow bone and in my inner corner.

7) Finally I lined my eyes with Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Liner in Black Ink and applied some Eylure False Lashes.

I created this look yesterday :-) I just felt like a smokey eye and after falling in love with the blue colour in this palette I decided on this look!

1) I primed my eyes with my Too Faced Shadow Insurance Primer.

2) I applied Glitz all over the lid, into the crease and on the lower lash line.

3) I used Wrapped Up as a blending colour, taking it into the crease and above it.

4) I then took Celebrate and put that into the crease.

5) I then take a tiny amount of Noir and darken up the outer edge.

6) I take some of my The Balm Mary Lou-Manzier and use it as brow and inner corner highlight.

7) Finally I line my eyes with some Bobbi Brown Gel Liner and swipe on some mascara.

I would definitely suggest picking some of these palette up as they're super pretty, easy to work with and inexpensive!

I'm dying to get my hands on the Au Natural, I-Candy and the Garden Of Eden Palette.

Do you love the Sleek Palettes?

Which one is your favourite?!

March Collective Haul - Sleek, N-SPA + More

Hullo Ladies!

Heres my recent collective haul that contains a mix of clothing, makeup and hair dye! Yay!

I've been to ASDA frequently in the last month.

On my most recent trip I picked up the new Elle magazine that contains a free Percy and Reed Product called Wonder Balm.

I picked up one of the Rimmel Apocolips in Big Bang and a hair bun.

I still can't for the life of me figure out how to do it though :-(

I also ordered some sleek products from Amazon as well.

The Eye shadow palettes in Oh So Special, Vintage Romance and the Face Form palette in Fair :-)

The eye shadow palettes are on offer and cost just £5.75 and the Face Form was also on offer and cost £7.19.

Also a few weeks ago I went food shopping to ASDA and noticed the clothing sale...Obviously....and picked up a few awesome things!

I picked up these two super cute jumpers.

I can't remember the exact price but I have a feeling I paid around £8 each for them :-) I love the blue one I thought It would look amazing for this Spring.

I also managed to find the best bargain of all and that was this amazing Skater dress for just £6, it was the last one and it was in my size. Fate. I'm wearing it to a family meal this weekend, it's gotten me so excited for the Summer!

Whilst in ASDA I also noticed that the Hair Dyes were all on offer for 2 for £8 so I picked up a new red hair dye to try and because I seem to be in a slump lately with my hair and I keep wanting to do something drastic with it

This was the other dye I picked up, just in case I was still fed up with the way it looked after I dyed it red :-)

So that's everything I've bought recently :-)

What have you picked up lately and most importantly...what's your favourite Sleek Product? I'm obsessed   :-)

February Favourites 2014

Hullo Ladies!

I thought I'd better write up my February favourites post before it's to late and I end up needing to write my March one instead! I'm usually on time with these things but Instagram's  been keeping me busy!

My Instagram name is LinziLou92 by the way!

First favourite of the month.....

Dolce & Gabbana The One Desire - Smells so divine and unique, quite sweet but also floral. I love it!

Soap & Glory Peaches & Clean - I remember this being huge when it first came out and I finally understand why! I've received this for Christmas and started using it a few weeks after. I'm half way through and I'm definitely going to pick it up again! It makes taking off my makeup at the end of the day feel so good :-)

TheBalm Nude Tude Palette - I bought this recently and have been using it, with my Naked 3 palette ever since. It was difficult to decide which one to put into this post as I feel they both deserve it! I chose this one though and I have to say I'm so glad I bought it. I've created so many beautiful eye looks with it and really do suggest it to anyone looking for a new palette.

TheBalm Mary-Lou Manizer - I bought this when I bought the NudeTude palette as I knew these two products seemed to be the most talked and raved about. I can see why. It's such a gorgeous highlighter. I'm still trying out loads of different brushes to see which one applies the best. The one I'm favoring at the moment is the Real Techniques Contour brush. I'm so happy with this product and can't wait to wear it on a night out so I can show off my glowing cheeks!

Garnier Moisture Match in Dry to Very Dry - I've been using this for awhile now, ever since the range came out and I still love it. It's probably the only high street moisturizer that's actually helped my skin. It also doesn't hurt when you can get it on offer in ASDA ;-)

Soap & Glory Thick and Fast Mascara - This is one of my favourite Mascaras ever! It's great to just apply quickly for day wear but you can add amazing volume for a night out with a few extra coats :-)

Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick in Nudist - I'd heard so much about this product on Youtube and I finally decided to pick it up in the 3 for 2 offer recently. It's amazing as everyone says it is. It smells, feels and looks amazing!

Soap & Glory Smolder Kohl Eye Liner - Soap & Glory are on a roll for me this Month, I've been using this on my top lash line all month and it looks great! I don't use it in my waterline as it does smudge but on my top lash line it stays all day!

Sleek Blush By 3 Palette in Pink Sprint - I'm obsessed with these sleek blush palette at the moment and I'm so surprised at how easily I'm finding it to use this certain palette, it contains a lot of very pigmented, dark pinks but with a light hand they look amazing! I really want to pick up some more :-)

So those are all my February Favourites, what was yours?
